What's in each 50g gel
- About 22-24g of carbohydrate, mainly maltodextrin plus natural fruit sugars; no set glucose to fructose ratio is advertised
- Caffeine for a mild boost; sodium citrate for light electrolyte support
- Gluten free, no added colours
When to use it
- Late in marathons, ultras and long rides, when you want a fruity flavour with caffeine
- Hot days, when tropical flavours are more appealing than citrus or cola
- Alternating with non-caffeinated PURE gels to control your total caffeine
How to use it
Take one gel about 15 minutes before exercise, then every 30-40 minutes, with 200-300ml of fluid each time. Maximum 10 gels per day. Check the pack for the caffeine content. Not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or anyone sensitive to caffeine.
